Radford University Art Museum

The Radford University Art Museum (RUAM) is dedicated to creating an inclusive and enriching environment where students, the university community and the public can engage with and learn from original works of art. Since its establishment, RUAM has been committed to promoting visual literacy as part of a comprehensive education, offering programming that is both locally connected and globally relevant.

Presenting a year-round schedule of exhibitions by students, faculty and regional artists. As always, there is no admission fee and our galleries and receptions are open to the public!

Our focus is on exhibiting, studying, acquiring and preserving high-quality art across various media, representing diverse cultures and artistic traditions from around the world.

The Radford University Art Museum system currently has three main gallery spaces and two smaller exhibition spaces.

The Radford University Art Museum houses approximately 2,500 works, including 200+ student pieces and notable collections from prominent artists, estates and foundations.
